Welcome to Jason Works. By making a booking, hiring our space, or using our website, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully.
General Information
Jason Works is a flexible co-working, meeting and event space located in Loughborough. These Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings made with Jason Works.
Booking Terms
Minimum Age - The lead booker must be aged 18 or over.
Children - Children are welcome when attending private events but must remain under the supervision of a responsible adult at all times.
Pets - Well-behaved dogs are welcome by prior arrangement and must be kept under control at all times.
Accepted Payment Methods
Visa, Mastercard and other major credit/debit cards.
Booking & Payment
A booking is only confirmed once you have received a booking confirmation email from Jason Works.
Payment terms will be confirmed at the time of booking. Unless otherwise agreed, full payment is required before your booking takes place.
Access Times
Access times will be confirmed as part of your booking confirmation. Guests must vacate the space promptly at the end of their booked hire period unless an extension has been agreed in advance.
Cancellations & Changes
Any changes to your booking should be communicated to Jason Works as soon as possible.
Cancellations made more than 14 days before your booking may be eligible for a refund, subject to any non-refundable deposit or administration fees.
Cancellations made within 14 days of the booking are non-refundable.
No-shows are not eligible for refunds.
Rescheduling
Standard Notice - Requests to reschedule must be made at least 14 days before the booking date. Rescheduling is subject to availability and may incur a re-booking fee of up to 20%.
Requests made less than 14 days before the booking date will be charged the full booking fee.
Rate Changes - If a booking is moved to a date with a higher hire rate, the difference in price must be paid in addition to any applicable rescheduling fee.
No refunds or credits will be issued where the new booking has a lower hire rate.
Extenuating Circumstances - Jason Works reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to waive rescheduling fees in cases of documented emergencies or exceptional circumstances.
Limit on Rescheduling - A booking may only be rescheduled once. Any further changes will be treated as a cancellation and any payments made will be forfeited.
Use of the Space
Care of the Venue - Guests are expected to treat Jason Works, its furniture, equipment and facilities with care. Any damage, breakages or maintenance issues must be reported immediately.
Damage Charges - Jason Works reserves the right to charge the card on file for the cost of any damage, breakages, excessive cleaning or missing items resulting from your booking. For minor accidental damage
(such as broken crockery or glassware), a flat administration and replacement fee of £25 may apply. For more significant damage, guests remain responsible for the full cost of repair or replacement.
Notification of Charges - Before any charges are made, the lead booker will be contacted in writing with details of the damage and a breakdown of the associated costs.
Conduct - Guests must respect the venue, neighbouring businesses and other users of the building. Noise should be kept to an appropriate level at all times, particularly when entering or leaving the premises.
Jason Works reserves the right to end a booking immediately if behaviour is deemed unsafe, illegal or likely to cause damage or disruption.
Liability
Jason Works accepts no responsibility for loss, theft or damage to personal belongings brought onto the premises.
Guests use the space at their own risk and are responsible for ensuring they have appropriate insurance where required.
Data Protection
Jason Works complies with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR).
Personal information collected will only be used for booking administration, customer service, safety, legal obligations and marketing communications where consent has been provided.
Complaints
If you experience any issues during your booking, please notify a member of the Jason Works team immediately so we have the opportunity to resolve the matter.
Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England.
Any disputes arising from these Terms & Conditions will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
Amendments to these Terms & Conditions
Jason Works reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time.
The latest version will always be available on our website and will take effect immediately unless otherwise stated.
