How many people does it sleep?
Up to 12. The loft has 1 bedroom which sleeps 2 guests in the Emperor bed. However, one really cool thing about the loft is that under the floorboards are hidden 3 more full-size double beds, bringing the number up to 8. For even more guests, we can add 2 extra fold-out doubles to the space to bring the total up to 12.
How many bedrooms are there?
There is 1 master bedroom. The additional beds are set in the floorboards of the main living space, right down the opposite end of the loft, which creates a bit of a ‘slumber party’ feel. Any additional beds will also be placed here.
Where are the extra beds?
The extra beds are hidden under the floorboards of the (huge!) main living space and are locked away unless booked in advance. Additional fold-out beds are added by our housekeepers when added to the booking in advance.
How many bathrooms are there?
There is 1 private W/C within the loft. The shower and bath are located just inside the master bedroom.
Are the hot tub and sauna private?
Yes. The hot tub and sauna are located on the roof terrace which is private and exclusively for use by guests of the loft. Just step out of the bifold doors and into the roof, where you’ll find out Japanese hot tub and the door to step into the sauna.
Is there air conditioning / heating?
Yes! The loft is temperature controlled for comfort, by both air conditioning and heating. There is also a log burner in the bedroom, for extra cosy nights.
How do we access the loft?
The loft can be accessed via the beautiful restored lift (accessed with a private phone number exclusively by guests of the loft) or there are steps for those that prefer to walk up.
Where can I park?
The loft has 2 exclusive parking spaces in the car park to the rear of the Jason Works building.
What are the neighbours like?
Our loft is on the top floor of the Jason Works building, which is home to a multitude of local businesses, including a co-working space, wellness studios and a cafe and reclaimed furniture store. Though the loft is super private, we do ask that you try to keep loud noise to a minimum during working hours.
How do I host a party here?
Just enquire with us. We provide the space, you bring the food, the drinks and the fun. Need a recommendation? We can share our favourite local suppliers.
